The school trained students with a view to equip them to survive and thrive in the world …

I do not feel equipped for this day, but feelings are liars and emotions smoke.

God urges us to equip ourselves and others. This is included in our marching orders.

“The sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over in battle array before the sons of Israel, just as Moses had spoken to them; about 40,000 equipped for war, crossed for battle before the Lord to the desert plains of Jericho.” – Joshua 4:12-13 NASB

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NASB

Equip yourselves.

 

“Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” – Hebrews 13:20-21
