Path

RHTM


I am taking the narrow path. How do I know?

There are people who avoid me.

There are people who have severed all ties with me.

I read the Bible and see a new thing God wants me to do, something to give up, something to throw away. I toss the baggage and move toward the center of the path that just got narrower.

I turn the video off. I stop watching the movie (even one I used to like). I skip Facebook posts without reading. I give away a book I had previously wanted to read. I don’t shop at that store anymore. I don’t go to that activity that a few years ago I would have really looked forward to.

New things offend me…

New things make me angry…

It's not easy, but God has other plans for my time.
