Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed it he that
takes refuge in Him. Your word, O God, is eternal, it shineth forth in the
heavens. Your faithfulness continues forever.
Job 34:3 – “For the ear tests words As the palate tastes
food.”
Psalm 34:8 – “O taste and see that the LORD is good; How
blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”
Psalm 119:103 – “How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
Proverb 24:13-14 – “My son, eat honey, for it is good, Yes,
the honey from the comb is sweet to your taste; Know that wisdom is thus for
your soul; If you find it, then there will be a future, And your hope will not
be cut off.”
Matthew 16:28 – “Truly I say to you, there are some of those
who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man
coming in His kingdom.”
Hebrews 2:9 – “But we do see Him who was made for a little while
lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned
with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for
everyone.”
Hebrews 6:4-5 – “For in the case of those who have once been
enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers
of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the
age to come,”
Job 12:11 – “Does not the ear test words, As the palate
tastes its food?”
Job 6:6 – “Can something tasteless be eaten without salt, Or
is there any taste in the white of an egg?”
Matthew 5:13 – “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt
has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for
anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.”
Father, remind me to taste Your words every day.
